About Me

My interest in ticket machines started way back in 1987 when I was asked to repair Way 1 machines for the then Western SMT.

Working in the Setright Department introduced many different types of ticket machines and the interest grew.

Following the advice of a Director at W.SMT I started my own business in 1989 one year later having been repeatedly asked to join Wayfarer I joined Systech Solutions.

Following 9 years with Systech Solutions (the service arm of Wayfarer Transit Systems) I left and revived the T M Services name and have seen many changes to ticket machines since.

As the owner of T M Services I have on a daily basis the installation, maintenance and repair of both Wayfarer and Almex (Optima) ticket machines to keep me busy.

The new Wayfarer and Almex machines are a far cry from the days of the insert Setright or the Almex A’s.

My leisure time is spent either re-building old Setright machines or building electronic test equipment for the new machines.
