About Me

I' am chairman and also driver of a small busline (509) in The Netherlands between the towns of Hoevelaken, Nijkerk en Barneveld in the province Gelderland.

All the drivers do this on a voluntary basis. We get all the support of the province and the buscompany Veolia-Transport.

We have 2 Mercedes Sprinters (an older one and a newer one). You can se one of the buses on my profile image, standing in front of our garage.

See for more information on our website in Dutch. www.lijn509.nl

About Me

I have collected about 25 ticket machines of many different types over the past 30 years. I am interested in all aspects of bus services from all over Britain but mostly from pre deregulation in 1985. I specialise in SE London bus history and have every copy of LOTS London Bus Magazine (the quarterly one with London histories).

I print small runs of Edmondson style card tickets some of which are sold from ticket vending machines of the traditional type.
