Almex 'PDR' LTB 0155.
New to London Transport c. 1967, and passed to London Country in 1970.
These machines were built to contain a magnetic tape which recorded all tickets issued. This was later removed.
Fare range was originally up to 11s 11d, converted after decimalisation to go up to 119p.
The 'shillings' and 'pence' counters are both duplicated, and the counter near the key records how many times the machine has been opened with the key.
These machines were used briefly by conductors at Bromley (TB) garage, where they were not popular mainly due to their weight. I'm not surprised. They were also used to introduce one-man-operation to the Green Line coach network.
