I Don't know why the shroud was fitted and have not seen it on any other operators but i have seen other Blackpool machines also with this fitted.
I wonder why they fitted that shroud to the pointer. It seems a waste of effort. Is this common or peculiar to Blackpool? I've never seen one before.
