As with most types of L.T ticket machines these L.T ultimate machines had the own specification as they could not issue a double ticket ,and the ticket counter clocks below the levers were painted over except for the one on the left hand side.

This is the same 'well used' machine depicted in the following few photos after I aquired it and cosmetically restored it with reproduction (home-made) tickets and Ultimate plate ... see my pics that follow
I was a Bus Conductor at Harborne Garage,Birmingham in thr late 1960's.
I was fortunate to purchase a UltimateTicket Machine, from a ticket fair.
With a label saying it was stored at Selly Oak Garage,and that it had come from
Harborne Garage.
