Paul - you will need to remove the lead seal (if there is one) next to the plate.
Beneath this there should be a small disc which should also be removed.
Next, remove the pin from the hole under the disc, then the claw from the side of the mounting. The plate can then be pulled out using a pair of long-nosed pliers. You may need to tug it a bit as the spring holding it in place is quite strong.

Im finding it hard to pull out the back of the printing plate of my almex.The company plate has fallen off but need to get thay glued back on,not a problem with that,but does anybody know how to pull that backing plate out with the hole in it without damaging it?Many thanks,paul!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
