Please can you advise how many Gibson ticket machines that Douglas Corporation used, and the machine numbers please. I own one of these machines number 36.

Hi Prez,
A nice picture of the underneath of these unusual spec Gibsons,the sliding hatch shown is for ease of re inking as the ink roller can be accesed via this hatch when in the open position,this can sometimes cause problems if hasterly re inked,as the Melbourne spec Gibsons had the same inking hatch and when these machines were re inked by the ticket machine dept ink leak from the hatches and stained uniforms etc,causing many complaints from staff,this was told to me by a M.P.T.D Man,and even your example shows a slight ink sepage from the hatch.
