For some reason photos of Barker punches do not show the size too well. I've seen lots and assumed they were quite small. I bought one off ebay recently and was really surprised to see how big it was. It easily weights the same as the Williamson and the size is very similar.
I own an exact copy of the Barker punch but it doesn;t have any pressed name on the exterior nor a window. It works great, and I have been advised it may be American (copy?). It could be Britannia metal or aluminium. Any ideas out there?
Anybody know the era of these punches? What became of the Barker Co.?
