Slide the catch to the left hand side ,this will expose the hole that should be positioned at the top left of the half circle as in picture,if the small hole is not positioned to the top left then slide it around to the top left with a small nail etc this must fit through the hole(a small circular curtain hook is ideal) once in this position push the hook/nail down with your right thumb and at the same time with your left thumb slide the whole front casing to the left hand side using the ridge on the left edge of the front casing as grip. Please Note If your machine hasn't been opened for a long period of time minor lubrication around the half circle /small hole/ side of front casing, is recommended..
