Over 8000 were built at the L.C.C T ticket machine works,Brixton. designed by George Gibson (designer of the later Gibson A14 machine) it is also believed that when Brixton tram depot was converted to a bus garage 100s of these punches were used as hardcore to fill in the tram inspection pits.
