Many variants were produced over a fifty year period,brought out by Almex in the early 1980s,the patents for the T.I.M machine ended up being sold to a company based in India,who exported parts(some plastic) back to the U.K

Hi Stan,
Would it be possible to upload photos,you can read the print plate by opening the ticket roll dispenser and then turn handle and read the print plate as it rotates,why not auction it on this site to achieve a maximum sale price ?

Sorry for the delay
The machine was working freely when it was put away over 10 years ago.
It has now "dried out", it has not been forced,opened or tampered with.
Is there a printing plate inside the machine ?
It has no paper roll left

I have had a TIM machine for many years, very simlar to the one ilastrated .
it has a good history, it was designed to be used on the "Luggage Boats" on the River Mersey before the Mersey Tunnels were built 1930's
The selector finger above the dial has a choice of CYCLE MOTOR PASSANGER PARCEL CRUISE, instead of the usual price denominations
Any intrest to anybody
Could yiu put a price on it?
