On the other hand, Manchester Corporation (or possibly SELNEC by then) converted quite a few conventional Mk 1 machines to short range / lever operation on OMO buses - using the kind of motor stand that meant the machine was 'handle' end down on the stand.
The blanked off front cash counter is suggestive of this.
There was a W... sequence (Wythenshawe garage) of MCT Setrights - serial number 59452 upwards.
