On the month dial the are the letters U & D this was presumably for "up line" and "down line" .

I've got a MkII Setright with O & I month settings, probably for outbound & inbound.
It prints the operator as "Carley Motors".
It prints the operator as "Carley Motors".
Also mentioned by Jack early C.M.S setrights also had the U & D month dial
