The South Devon Railway recently purchased a Gibson ticket machine via this site,and set about doing a excellent job applying a new title to the Gibson print plate,

This is a involved job and should only be attempted with mechanical knowledge,as careful grounding down of the print plate etc is required .

The SOUTH DEVON RAILWAY  operate a heritage service using RM 1872 and Gibson ticket machine 26256.

The S.D.R  is well worth a visit as you can see a Gibson at work as well as all the other excellent attractions.
